Lynx
Basic Information
Anatomy
Shaped basically like a giant cat. Has slightly opposable thumbs. Ears may be pointed or rounded, tufted or not. Tail may be long or short. Pelt may be long, medium, or short.
Biological Traits
Females tend to be more muscular and slightly taller than males.
Genetics and Reproduction
Females will go into heat once a year, although having a litter will delay the next cycle for an additional year. Gestation lasts for six months, after which one to four cubs will be born.
Growth Rate & Stages
Lynx are considered adults at age 12, and become sexually mature around 8-12 years for females and 8-10 years for males.

Facial characteristics
Eyes may be green, yellow, amber, orange, or blue. Some Lynx have longer hair along their jaws (not gender related).
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Found primarily on the northern tip of the Doslian continent, Lynx only occasionally leave their ancestral homeland.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Excellent night vision and hearing.
Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
Normally mixes and patterns of greys, browns, creams, and black. Spots and stripes are commonly seen, as are mottled patterns.
