City of Brass Story 2

 

Once Upon A Time...

  The City of Brass has many districts with people from every walk of life. Some of these districts are are more restrictive than other but there are those who can cross through all of them. Such people tend to be very privileged but others do so more out of fear or are so clever as to not be found out as they go about under false pretenses. Once such group is the Bonu Eye. Feared by most and able to disguise themselves amonst those who don't. But even in such an influential group there are those who weakest or the newest. It is for them to earn their places within the Bonu Eye. Known as Initiates, these lowly members are eager and even desperate at times. Because of this they are often bold and sometimes outright dangerous. Some believe it is the Initiates that has earned the Bonu Eye is fearful reputation but those who have endured the machinations of the Bonu know better.   Always traveling in pairs, two Initiates of the Bonu Eye have been tasked to deliver a jar of Womvu Ooze to a master on AAA street in BBB District. This is a very restricted district where even the master is under disguise, his membership a protected secret. Getting in requires traveling over the Hanging Gardens Wall, a beautiful place best viewed from balconies. Creatures are drawn to this wall which makes this a place of unexpected dangers even for the gardeners.   The Initiates are making their way with ease until they are rudely charged by a burly mountain goat. As the Initiates scramble to get away from the goat, the satchel with the jar is dropped. Once they are clear of the goat, they realize this and are determined to go back for it. Just before they make theor move, the PCs arrive...
