Morality & Philosophy
Borte's overriding philosphy is that women are not only utterly superior to men but men are to be completely subservient to women. Her entire staff is made up of women much to the frustration of the other Yeronkhii of Modgazar. The only men that she has as part of her court are not only slaves/servants, they are eunichs.
Taboos
The mistreatment of women (real or implied) is met with either the accused becoming the servant of their accuser for any number of months or years based on the infraction or the whim of Borte, or castration and sent to work as a fetch and carry servant for the animal tenders.
