Squirrel's Tavern
This little waystation has been around for quite some time according to Squirrel, three generations of her family
Purpose / Function
A waystation and small place to make a bit of a life for oneself.
Sensory & Appearance
Depending on who you ask, people will swear to the fact that when they walk in, the place "smells like mom's cooking".
Denizens
All walks of life and all manner of traveller.
Alterations
Over the years she has allowed people to plant and grow on a section of one of the three plots of land that have been set aside. This is one way where she allows those individuals to make an honest day's work for an honest day's pay/meal.
Architecture
A combination of stone and wood, that has weathered itself very well. A small orchard or various trees have grown around the tavern over time and there are three separate fields about 10 acres in size for planting. (See Squirrel's Rules). Inside the tavern is always comfortable compared to the outside, hot or cold. Inside the tavern the common area is spacious and well lit, the rooms are cozy but not cramped.
Defenses
No one fights inside Squirrel's unless they want to fight Squirrel (I wouldn't advise it)
History
Has been in the same family of Halflings for over 500+ years.
Tourism
There is always a constant stream of people of all walks of life coming to the tavern. Even different generations of the same family have been coming to Squirrel's
Squirrel's Rules of the Tavern
- NO Fighting - take it outside
- If you have no money, "Honest day's work for an honest day's pay"
- Don't ask me to marry you
- First time you'll get for free - I might even laugh
- Second time - I'm married to these 4 walls and the land around it
- Third time - I ring the bell and you buy the entire tavern and me a round -- Don't have enough money, see rule #2

Environmental Effects
It can't be said for sure if it's magic, or just the atmosphere of the tavern, but if you ask anyone who has ever been there, they will tell you that it has that feeling of being at home after a long day and that wonderful relaxing feeling.
