Warhaven Arena: Planar Adventures
General Summary
Necthan wanted to help boost the economy of the now overtaken Warhaven. Gathering up a group of adventurers consisting of Prim, Milo and Walter, the group teleported into Cloev's dojo so they could go and participate in the arena there. Upon getting to the arena, they signed the paperwork and were told to go and wait in a side room. While there, one of the arena workers began explaining how the games would work. He gave each of the participants a harness with a bloodstone on it and told them that there would be four main challenges. The group could choose between each challenge which all correlated to a different elemental plane.
After hearing the explanation, the group had a little trouble choosing which one to go to with Prim being adamant that she would not like to go to the one themed after the plane of fire. However, when Walter, Milo, and Necthan all touched the fire pillar and disappeared, she changed her mind. The group was brought to a place that resembled the plane of fire but was somehow different. Awaiting them was an iron golem as well as bursts of flame that shot up from the ground randomly. While the fight was a little difficult, Walter's healing was helpful, and Milo and Prim made easy work of the construct.
The next place they chose was the modeled after the plane of water. They appeared into a huge pool with a cage over it with only enough room to put their heads up to breathe. Milo and Necthan just chose to sink to the bottom, but Prim and Walter had no issues with the water. Inside the pool, they faced three dire crocodiles. One of them was quickly taken out by Walter and Necthan while the other two put up a little more of a fight. Both Walter and Necthan were almost knocked unconscious, but Milo and Prim did quick work on the others.
In the third arena, the adventurers had no problems taking down a couple of flying beasts as this was where most of them were in their element with fly spells and such. The flying creatures only had time to bite Walter before being destroyed by the rest of the crew.
In the final area, a giant pool of acid lay between the group and their final challenge. This battle was also quickly decided but not before each of the adventurers had a dip in the acid which appeared to be more effective than the monsters Warhaven could throw at the adventurers.
With the battles over, everyone went their separate ways with their winnings except for Walter who stayed a little longer to help heal the broken people of Warhaven.
