The High Court of Arbour

The High Court of Arbour, wanting to pull together a consensus of peace terms and address further items of the kingdom. The five council members, and their advisors, met at the Ashen Keep, ready to discuss their agenda.

The council discussed their desired outcome of the peace accords, and the land divisions they might see best. A little back and forth occurred, but ultimately their goals were aligned, and while some armies were put into reserve, a portion of them remained out, ready to keep the newly liberated lands safe.

Meako, prior to the meeting, sent out a missive to Myrinoc, in order to discuss a more peaced alliance, and discuss a land trade. Myrinoc, in her animal form, waited in the corner of the room, listening in on their conversations before appearing before them. Meako apologized for the previous treatment of her people, from Honshu, to the NEL, to now Telestria. He acknowledged he inherited some fault, but wished to make amends. Ultimately, the council of Arbour wanted to create a path to the northern mountains that they have laid claim to, and asked for help for it. After some very carefully worded and diplomatic exchanges, Myrinoc agreed to part with some of the lands to give Arbour access, in exchange, Arbour will release them from vassalage, allowing them to become their own nation, as well as swearing to protect them, and if they fail to do so their High Judge will submit himself to be slain permanently. Meako did find that the terms were harsh, but Myrinoc replied, saying they were only harsh if Arbour does not uphold its word. Meako agreed, a document to be sent and signed.

After the talks concluded, and Myrinoc left, the last bit of conversation went to dedicating resources to Abkheset. They wanted to ensure that Arbour seemed the most generous, so set aside a large portion of their resources to ensure they kept their strength and generosity in the world's stage. Shortly after, the council was dismissed, ready for the talks that happen the next day.
