Return to Dinosaur Island

Azim and a group of fellow adventurers sallied forth for the strange island they'd happened upon before, believing it to be a divine mission of some sort. Upon reaching the island, they realized all was not as they'd left it. The magical barrier that shrouded the land seemed to be pulsating with a malevolent red aura. Forging quickly inland, ignoring some of the more docile wildlife, they were soon accosted by a hungry wing of flying reptillian creatures. With some effort, managing to beat them back. While recovering they stumbled upon a man who claimed to be from the shielded section of the island. Claiming that a cult to the dead god Bhaal was performing some kind of ritual in a temple within the magical dome. Now invigorated with holy purpose, Azim stormed on, his party scrambling to keep up as they headed for the dome. But arriving at the mysterious dome, his party managed to convince him they should turn back for now. No signs that whatever ritual was happening was nearing completion. Battered and bruised as they were, it was better to leave and lick their wounds then return at full strength to deal with the looming threat.
