After getting thier mission from Tegzod in the demiplane, our party disccused how exactly they should get in contact with Cloev, first having Arel do an few sendings, it was clear Cloev wanted them to atleast show the respect of showing up in person, however that idea was dismissed in favour, of forefully summoning him to Trader's Cusp arena, they were luckly able to talk him down from attacking immerdiatly, not least with the help of good sandwich prepared by Asano, and Arel's presence. they managed to convince him, to help them aginst the soverginty if they could beat him in an fight, to the death.
Azim challenged Cloev to take the first hit, and he agreed he did however buff himself by hitting himself with the spellstoring gauntlets his, and what an great couple hits it was from Azim imbued with smite of Asano and magic of himself and Tiff, even if Cloev did block one of them, Azim and Aldrik however did not survive the returned flurry of natural attacks. Tiff aimed on controlling the battlefield while Asano and Rico piled on the damage, Cloev asserting Tiff the biggest threat focused her, but with combination of artificers curse to turn of magic items of his, antimagic field and emgnacy force spheres she managed to saty in the fight for quite an bit, but even she feel to his might, as his strikes broke through her magic and teared her. he did however not look good after this and with an hit of Asano he had to use an ability to split in two to avoid death, he then managed to kill Asano and Rico. however weather purposefully or not, he had forgotten Arel's participation as she fired an cosmic ray through the ring gate of Tiff, piercing stright through his head, Cloev failling over dead.
through different means everyone however got revived most by breath of life, Tiff by an ioun stone. and Cloev, well Cloev has earned his moniker of Immortal monster for an reason, as his wounds contuine to heal even in death. having managed to defeat him, Cloev agreed to help them, in the coming war.
Tiff, Arel and Rico left to report back to Tegzod, while Azim talked with Cloev about Tetrodora aim of claiming Warhaven, at the conclusion of the war. Cloev agreed to let them on an few conditions, however the desires of an Monster is fickle and might change.
