Expanding My Magical Knowledge

Tiff, on the cusp of achieving the highest level of spellcasting, wanted to seek out rare scrolls to be able to prep for high levels of casting. Calling together friends who may wish to join, Azim and Nightfall joined in, with shopping lists of their own.

Together they searched the city, finding a few vendors that had a few of the high level scrolls. With assistance from Nightfall, Tiff was able to barter for some additional discounts, and was able to walk away with scrolls holding legendary spells. Azim, wandering the vendors himself, manages to find some clerics of Tyr, selling powerful paladin spells. While most of the spells Azim wanted were available, the few that were not for sale would have been in a temple that Azim did not wish to enter. Meeting up with Tiff, they followed the rumors of a wizard looking for Tiff.

Following the rumor, they find the mage, an eccentric individual in blue robes. Greeting the party, he states he was looking for Tiff, not believing the individual in front of her matching the description. After convincing the old man, he states that a few adventurers had broken a curse on him, and they had asked as part of their payment to meet with Tiff. After some talks, Tiff extended an invitation to the guild. Madmus asked for a higher position, as he believed himself to be higher than a mere acolyte. With a donation of a 9th level scroll, Tiff gladly accepted, adding one more to her collection, and one more member to the guild. After a successful day of shopping, the party goes their separate ways, now more prepared for the conflict upcoming.
