A Forbidden Bounty - Jim the Azruverda

A new comer to Pandora, Amon-thul sought to fill his coffers and establish himself in Pandora. Joining with his new associate Roger, the two sought out Chef Alton Bolton to help him with his task. The two found the culinary innovator in his tent in the back reaches of the market district in Traders Cusp. After sampling Chef Bolton's offer of displacer beast sashimi, they pair were charged with aquiring the meat and shell of an Azruverda.

Acting on a tip that a giant who lives in Falcons Hallow may know where to find the elusive beast. The pair travelled to the small hamlet and came across Kor the forest giant. Kor told them of the peaceful sage that helped him tame his anger and free himself from his slavery to his flesh. He was kind enough show the pair of adventurers where they can find the enlightenment he believed they sought. To return the favor, Amon-thul stoked the giants rage and convinced the town he was a threat to the public peace. The local constabulary charged Roger and Amon-thul with dealing the threat they were so gracious to expose. Amon-thul expertly stoked the giants rage again in public, getting a large boulder thrown at him. Fortunately it missed, and the pair of adventurers quickly dispatched the giant.
After helping to turn the public opinion of the Tetradoran government, thanks to Roger helping ensure the public peace, the pair set off into the woods to find the layer of Sage Jim the Azurverda. On the way through the woods they were attacked by a Goliath Spider. It was the size of a house, but the two dispatched the creature with relative ease.
The two made it to the small cottage on the side of the mountain range that housed the sage teacher they sought. It was guarded by 8 more giants just like Kor, who let the two in to Jim's layer, believing their story that they sought his wisdom. It did not take long though for the charade to drop. The two adventurers attacked the peaceful creature and slew him cold. Cleverly using tattoo magic, the group stored the corpse on Amon Thul's follower. The group harvested the sages ample crop of mushrooms as well.
The group then had to clean up their mess. They exited the cave and dispatched all of the Sages followers, leaving no living witnesses to the crime, burning their corpes to ensure they could not easily be returned.
Upon returning to Chef Alton's tent, the party was shown to his cellar through a portal in the ground, and gave the chef his prize. They also sold him the cache of mushrooms that they harvested for an extra price.
