A Flood of New Friends

General Summary

Hearing a recent influx of kobolds have started causing ruckus to the city, Prim called together the Draconia council to address the devastation, and devise a solution. Prior to them meeting, Prim and Covak spent a few moments pranking each other in mundane and magical ways, Covak obtaining the help of Alastari to come up with clever ways to keep Prim on her toes.

Once the council assembled, Prim stated that she wanted to work on getting the kobolds integrated into the city properly, as they had formed a sort of "shanty town" outside the city. This makeshift camp was from any random materials the kobolds could find; tree bark, stones, flags found around the city, anything useful they could make a camp with. Alastari jokingly suggested that Covak should put the person who invited them on trial, as in the 'spirit of the law' their actions caused undo financial hardship on the kingdom, therefor theft. Prim did not appreciate the sarcastic comment, and decided to go see the kobolds herself, with Keiland and Covak joining her.

As she walked through the city, Prim noticed a kobold stealing some shiny object from another kobold. Unable to differentiate between one of the newer residents or her current citizen, Prim decided to approach the thief. She warned that if he continues, he would be thrown in jail. He nodded, and attempted to slip away, and began stealing again. Prim pointed to Covak, claiming that he would be the one to lock him up if he didn't stop. The small kobold believed that he understood, that everything in the city was Covak's "hoard" and he was stealing from Covak. Prim played along, and convinced him to return all the stolen good to Covak. Shortly after, Prim convinced spoke with a grouping of the homeless, stating that they needed to return all the stolen goods to Covak. A pile of baubles, golden trinkets, and various pieces of shiny things landed in a pile, that now somehow needed a way to get back to their owners.

The council reconvened to discuss what resources needed to be allocated to solve the new residents. Prim suggested the new travelers be integrated in the kingdom, just not near Aetherwind unless they were "useful" kobolds. Covak admonished her for the comment, suggesting that they make homes across both of the cities in the empire. Prim reluctantly agreed, and the country spent resources pulling apart the shanty town, creating new homes for the kobolds to help the population of the cities.
