Significance of the Crow on Obor
In Obor, the crow is a significant cultural icon. So much so that the city of Karasu has dedicated much of its architecture and art to the crow. In the times of the first empires, Obor was home to many cultures that have long since ended. Languages and religions lost to time can still be felt here. Poems like The Rat and the Crow, and reverence for animals like the rat, crow, elk, and more remain.
Many other cultures view them as nuissances at worst and insignificant scavengers at best. The old naturalist religion of Obor is not practiced anymore, but the respect afforded to nature has been inherited by the modern inhabitants.
