Nakan Litvinov

No one truly knows who his parents are. All that is known is they are human. They left Nakan at the door of the Church of Lunaticism in Luna Parish of Emerald soon after his birth with a small card reading "This is Nakan Litvinov. We can not care for him, though he is loved. Please give him the life we cannot." It is speculated the circumstances leading to a human couple giving birth to a kitsune was going to lead to persecution as the name Litvinov is not found anywhere else on Espiria. Batya Gadi took him in and raised him as any other child.   The circumstances of his birth, whatever they were, also gifted him with a powerful talent for magic - a dangerously powerful talent. Before he could speak, he could cast spells. It took Batya a lot of time, energy, and patience keeping up with the magical mayhem of a happy toddler. While she waited until he could read and think before introducing religion, she introduced meditation and contemplation to him at a very young age. Nakan would often meditate. He often sought the advice and wisdom of older people, incorporating it into his meditations in order to comprehend and apply the lessons.    School was not difficult for him as he had a massive community he could look to for support with topics he did not understand. When he graduated, he decided to go to the Emerald Samaritan College of Illusion to study magic. There, his proficiency grew immensely as he began to comprehend the magic he wielded so effortlessly with much greater depth. The most important lesson his time there taught him was his limits. Though he loved his natural talents and how much his limits had grown, he was able to see the diminishing returns and found where some of his limits are.   As he set out on his own, he got a simple little home and tutored people in magic. Not of much means, he didn't have the time or money to find someone to train him as he had hoped.
