Woundwart's Lair

The Terrierists of the The Terrier Beneath the Sands, who were recruited by "Woundwart" in the most recent surge of Terrier worship, congregated in a secluded part of the Kobold Nests beneath the Tangle. The banished Terrierists lived here while the plotted their revenge on the Bunbun Warren.

Upper Level

Secret pathway into the Tangle. This giant hall has an archway that is more reminiscent of a Minotaur's Labyrinth than any Bunbun-sized architecture. It is thought that the Tangle might originally be a repurposed Minotaur Labyrinth, giving it its signature mazelike quality. It is likely this particular entrance, which is overgrown and seems uncommonly used, has been forgotten by the residents of the Bunbun Warren.

Rooms
  • Terrierist Shrine: A shrine with a sculpture of dog out of bones. Bowl in front of it that had blood in it. Skins and carcases of small animals as offerings.
  • Gun laboratory: Room with a bunch of work benches and corkboards that are all covered in blueprints of fire arm mechanisms and prototype models of firing mechanisms. Pestle and mortal with saltpeter; the Terrierists are manufacturing own gunpowder.
  • Sleeping Quarters: Handful of sleeping rooms with rabbit bedding nests
  • Ronnie's bedroom: One of the bedrooms has a crudely done drawing of a black and white bunbun with a similar uniform to Bugsby’s. It has a massive slash where someone has thrown a ripsaw glaive at it in anger.
  • Dog Room: One room has a wall with a series of chains affixed to the brickwork where the other end of the chains is a thick spiked leather collar. Some of the chain and collars are the size of a puppy, the largest are the size of a hell hound.
  • Kitchinette: Small. The terrierists left in such a hurry there is half pot of Jugged Hare in the kitchen. Lindie eats it, Grimoire passes.
  • Fire Pit: Room with a circular fire pit which is ringed with thick dry serrated thorns. No flowers or fruit. Pit itself is full of sand from the screaming desert. The thorns have runes carved into them to make a magic circle out of this arrangement. Sand ripples oddly when it’s poked.

Lower Level

A set of muddy rooms are covered in rot and gore and the air is thick with a cacophony of overlapping canine barks. Chairs and tables put together, sized for small-sized creatures. Cages and ironbarred crates stacked haphazardly, containing a variety of dogs. Mostly small puppies, some desert jackals, some wild dogs, some look like lapdogs, some working guard dogs, some just hyena whelps stolen from the Gnoll Catacombs.
