Mirror of Desire (Qu'onan the Warrior Elf: Book 22)
Book 22 of the Qu'onan the Warrior Elf Series features Qu'onan entering a mirror dimension, and encountering a dashing almost-copy of himself, and a beautiful female version of himself. The book was based on a nightmare author Talitha Spice had as a child, not realising that her nightmare contained a Soulsliver and a Doppelgänger. Spice's later book, Forget Me Not, also features Doppelgängers, although on that occasion they are named creatures, not merely the Faux-rior Self.
Summary
In this cerebral instalment of the Qu'onan the Warrior Elf series, Qu'onan finds himself trapped in a strange mirror dimension, where he encounters an almost exact mirror image of himself, Qu'onan the Faux-rior Self. But what started as quest of a warrior's art soon becomes a test of a warrior's heart when the rival Qu'onans find a third, female Warrior Elf Maiden duplicate. When both Qu'onans fall for the female counterpart, how will they decide which will go on to complete the trials of the Sixty-Nine Scimitars, and which of them will remain in the... Mirror of Desire?
