idky what happened in his past but i think he was betrayed, uhm probably learned he wasnt entirely organic, as in he was created by "gods", which caused him to violently lash out. he tried to escape from the {templar/solar/lunar/stellar/angelic???} order and killed everyone who tried to stop him, including his only friend. Since then he's been on the run.
