Real Life ITBC
Background
P'Ache Prime Media Outlets (also known as PPMO) is a fundamental part of the Peacekeeper Alliance, with the mission to spread the truth far and wide, and to be transparent in doing so. They are seen as reporting real stories with humour and empathy but without bias.
While they started as a news outlet, PPMO quickly branched out into fictionalised stories which were designed to entertain, again with humour, empathy, and without bias.
The ITBC: In-Territory Border Control process, as it currently stands, was implemented in 4521 PT and within a decade of its introduction, it became very clear it was too complicated for most people. The then Head of Peacekeeper Integrity, made the decision that P'Ache Prime Media Outlets could help educate the masses.
They commission 10 episide documentary series and more than 200 years later they are still releasing episodes1.
Synopsis
Presented as a documentary, Real Life ITBC follows the work lives of members of the Order department of Peacekeeper Integrity as they protect the internal borders of the Peacekeeper Territories. While earlier seasons sometimes focused on individuals, after a decade or so, they had learned their lessons and focused more on the crimes being committed than the people doing the work. 2Variations

Reception
The general reception to the original Real Life ITBC was overwhelmingly positive. The audience generally felt as though they were getting to see behind the curtain at what really happened within the Order department of Peacekeeper Integrity. Applications to Order tripled over the course of a decade4. It didn't necessarily have the original desired effect of making the ITBC process more comprehensible in terms of applications, but people better understood what they could and couldn't carry through borders, and their respect for people working within Order increased massively.Spin Offs
As a result of the success of Real Life ITBC, other departments tried their hand at this style of "documentary" shows. Some were more successful than others, with 'Inside Bureaucratic Departments' being the unquestionable low point.Controversies
Documentary
P'Ache Prime Media Outlets maintain that the show is a documentary. There was a point early in the show's history where this was disputed, but everyone within Peacekeeper Alliance agrees it's a documentary.5Murder Trial
Early years of the original show focused on individual Order Officers, who became famous in their own right. Peacekeeper T'Dor was one such Order Officer who was strapping and quick with a strong hand and a joke. He was extremely popular and remained so until he was arrested for the murder of his wife and three children. While the Peacekeeper Alliance and the P'Ache Prime Media Outlets attempted to keep this underwraps, some things refuse to remain hidden. The trial was broadcast on PPMO after they realised there was no getting away from it6. The verdict was clear, and T'Dor was stripped of his title, his position and his life. As a result of this trial, no Order Officer was ever "featured" on the show in the same way again.Drug Trade
At the end of the 27th season of Real Life ITBC - Leaving Victalis, the show was cancelled abruptly. It soon became clear that for the previous five seasons some enterprising Order Officers and PPMO staff had been operating an illegal drug trafficking ring, using the show as a cover. Many of those responsible were not heard from again.Specisim
Some have claimed that the perpetrators of crimes on the show are never Pachian and there is a real focus on species from The Victalis System and The Aspiration System. The show has pointed out that the identities of many of the perpetrators are hidden for their own protection, and that it's not their fault that Pachians don't commit as many crimes7.Footnotes
- Not consistently for all of that time. There have been periods during which that was deemed unnecessary, but those hiatuses didn't last for longer than a decade or so.
- It should be noted that the shows focus only on successful stops and searches, never showing the long hours of looking and finding nothing.
- This only lasted 1 season. While package deliveries were covered in a lot of the other series, it was believed it would be popular and entertaining enough to warrant its own show. They were incorrect in this assumption.
- Perhaps more interestingly, they never truly went down to their original levels. So while Order is not always the most popular department to apply for within the Alliance, since Real Life ITBC started airing it has sat comfortably within the top 5.
- Much of it is fictionalised, or constructed for entertainment purposes. The Alliance maintains that they are fictionalised version of real events. There is no evidence of this.
- And they realised they could find yet another way to profit from the life of this man.
- Crime data to support this claim not found.

'it's not their fault that Pachians don't commit as many crimes' Yeah, sure. XD I am sad that the deaths of T'Dor's wife and kids were monetised.
