Session 9 : The Festival Climax Report

17th Uller 283   Returning to the city, Sascha, Mint and Verity make their way to the Bounty Hunters Guild, reconnecting with Finley and handing over the artefacts they recovered from the Tal structure for research and collectining thier 140gp reward for the job.   18th Uller 283   Verity has her final fight against Prince Ased, and after a tense and close battle , involving Verity unknowingly removing the shapeshifted form Ased takes to walk around as a Dragonborn, revealing his large Dragon presence, Verity eventually looses the battle, coming in second.    Talking with Ased post battle about his life and family, Verity is offered the chance to see the Erleth family artefacts if she was ever in Polantia, the pair finding a shared connection to the Feywild.   For coming second Verity recieves 100 gp, 2 minor magical items and a castle forged master crafted weapon of her choice. Ased coming in first gave his winnings to the charities through the city, and the magical items to the second and third place winners, so they both ended with 3 minor magical items, and Verity being granted a magical weapon enchantment of her choice.   In the evening the party made their way to watch Finley perform in the Performance contest. After bonding with Lin, and encorperating her into his routine the contest began. The other two contestants, Shellwood, a Tortle who did a performance of knife magic, throwing the blades so they would always impact into his shell, and Lord Arax, a Leonin master of fire magic.   Shellwood coming in third and Arax coming in first, Finley came second being awarded 75gp, 2 minor magical items, and a master crafted instrument or boon to his talent. Lord Arax also gave Finley his card, offering a place to rest if he ever found himself in Pridelong Shore.   Finley, distraut at his second place, spent the night getting drunk, ending up blacking out and being taken back to the Bounty Hunter's Guild by Aer, the Air Genasi clerk of the Guild. The rest of the party gathering at the Large Bear Bar, and with Orson, Sascha buying and making food for the celebration and ensuring that the ale flowed for the patrons of the bar.   19th Uller 283   Come the morning, Finley wakes up in one of the Guilds bunk rooms, thanking Aer for bringing him to somewhere safe, and making his way back to his troup. Being told the others could collect thier artefacts at 5, and that Lyra would have some information pertaining to a new job for them.
