Session 22 - Where Now? Report

20th Jullin 283   As Colette bathes her prothestic in the pool of life force, the party watch as she tenses, her back arching forward as her spectral wings sprout forth, though instead of the white energy that changes into flames, the whole wings are made of a deep red light, with swirling patterns of white, like flames moving thoughout them. As the wings fade, she collapses back, falling unconscious.    Mint and Ven carry the unconcious woman back to Ven's manor, calling a priest of Ilmater to check her and see if she needed healing. After assessing her and determining that she'll be fine, and that she just needs rest, the party ask him who to speak to about a girl who lived at the temple after the second attack of Ithual. He points them towards the high priestess Keyra at the main temple.   Ensuring Colette is safe, and in the hands of her aunt, the party head off to the temple of Ilmater near Porcilla. Encountering a Giant Eagle who goes on a small rant at Mint, leaving behind a insect like mask.   At the temple the party learn what they can from Keyra about the Silver, Ill'iar. They learn that she was very reserved whilst there, but Keyra did recall seeing a boy who by all accounts didn't exist talking to Ill'iar, who soon left the temple. The boy looked human, with light auburn/brown hair.    Keyra is taken away to talk with a guest, who after the party follow, after being told to leave the small antichamber they were in, see that it is the Princess Brazess of Polantia.   Verity interupts and tries to get Brazess to talk, learning some information from her. Brazess was following a lower lord of Dragontide, Sor Bukev, but was recongised somehow, as she wasnt in her normal form, and he was able to get away. She believes him to be a vassel for the Cult, answering to the Ruby. The party say they will follow this lead for her, as she goes to investigate the Moonstone.   Aboard the Clearskies and heading back to Colette, Mint sees a vision in the lightning as they pass through a storm. Realising that he will have to go and deal with his greater purpose, he spends a last night with the group, enjoying dinner under the stars. As he intends to leave after checking on Colette. With a promise to return.
