Session 18 - The Hidden Fortress Report

The party, seeing the hidden fortress filled with cultist, decide to sneak inside, using the mask they have, and Mint creating a look alike, with Mint and Rayna pretending to be cultists, and Verity and Colette as their prisoners.   Sneaking in, they manage to avoid anyone who would have suspicsions, getting an Initate to tell them where to take a prisoner, up to the experiment room on the third floor, where they can wait for the Silver's verdict. Making their way through, they get to the third floor room relavtively easily, until they encounter a Disciple on the third floor, who starts to see through thier ruse.   Mint casting Silence, the party make short work of the Disciple and an Acolyte who was in the room. Using thier clothes as a disguse for Verity and Colette. They take some notebooks, and make thier way into the Silver's bedroom/office, where they located more books and treasures to steal.   Through some searching they find a portable hole, that was hidden under a floor board, where the Silver keeps all her wealth and personal experimental magic items.   Rayna takes the pillows and matress from the Silvers bed, putting it in the hole, before taking the hole with them.   Heading downstairs, they move into the Tal underground, deactivating the barrier making their way into the structure owned by the Tal named Olloram. Taking some of his notebooks, the party then encounters the Silver herself. And two large prototype constructs she had created.   After besting the constructs, and knocking the Silver unconscious - but not before she sounded the evacuation alarm-, they take the Silver with them, burning the building to the ground.   They then put Kilixa mother out of her misery, ending her suffering at the hands of the Cult. Burning any remaining blood, or things the cult had left in their evacuation. Leaving the fortress to burn, they head back to the Clearskies, to interogate the Silver, take a better look at their new loot, and plan thier next journey.
