Gift of Parading Lights

The Gift of Parading Lights is a tradition in the rural villages of Lyra, Kingdom of Growing Lights in the middle of the year to celebrate young boys and girls that have reached maturity.   Thoughout the day any adults in the village will write down a thoughts or prayers and put it into a wooden bowl while the young boy/girl stands behind it from sun rise to sun set.
After sun set the priest of the village collects everyone around the center of the village. The young girl/ boy will randomly choose 6 of these folded notes and reads them outloud. They are then put into a lanturns. and set them off into the night sky.
