The Royal Crypt of Saintion
A crypt meant for the burial of the royal family members of the de Rougegard dynasti.
Here lies:
King Carles de Rougegard and his wife Queen Almóis.
Queen Burissenda de Rougegard and here husband Ubald.
King Rikarr I de Rougegard and his wives Queen Joan and Queen Burtillda.
King Ubald the Wise de Rougegard his wife Qlarinett, and his one year old son Prince Robért.
King Rikarr II 'the Great' de Rougegard
History
Built after the death of King Carles wife Almóis. The king grieved from that day until his last, fortunately for him that wasn't so long.
The crypt is only open for the nobility and guests on the occations of for example feast and parties. The air down there is often quite dry, probably because of the many torches kept lit daily by the royal guard.
