Tremere are an Ekon bloodline that selects scholars to join their ranks, more commonly magical scholars than scientific ones. Due to their experimentation with magic, it has become entwined with their very blood. While originally an Arabic line, they bring in scholars of all races. They consider knowledge to be more valuable than money.   Their abilities include:
  • the manipulation of blood; only masters of the craft can manipulate the blood of others. Common uses are to manipulate objects, as a projectile attack, or as a shield.
  • Alchemy and potion-making
  • Extensive knowledge of rituals
  • necromancy

Given latin's use in science and magic, Tremere have a tradition of teaching it to their fledglings.

Different members of the Tremere bloodline have different areas of expertise, but all consider all knowledge valuable. For this reason, information is the most valuable bartering tool to use with them.

Average technological level

Tremere have invented several tools to assist vampires in their nightly lives, including contact lenses that reduce eye-glow by 80% and grant typical human eye-colors, metal night-whistles, and various traps to keep pesky hunters out of one's lair. Vulhund are also an invention of the Tremere.

As Tremere value knowledge above anything else, the destruction of knowledge is their greatest taboo.
