Nightwhistles are instruments used to produce Nightsong. Although they were historically made by carving human bones, most nightwhistles you'll find today are made using metal.
Utility
Nightwhistles are essential for secret communication amongst vampires. Since humans can't hear them, they're used to call out and coordinate against hunters, as well as to simply greet each other. Some weres will also use nightwhistles.
Access & Availability
Nightwhistles are cheaply sold at every underground market. Some can even be found on online retailers, marked as '3 note dog whistles.' Most vampires carry one around their neck.
