Fertility ritual

Some creatures have trouble reproducing sexually. Vampires, for instance can typically only reproduce sexually using this ritual. European Vampires consider it tradition to perform this ritual at weddings, and some Humans use it as well. It can be a bit finicky, requiring very careful measuring of ingredients, as well as several hours of direct light from the full moon. It's often paired with a prayer to Demeter, but studies show conflicting results on the effects of prayer with this ritual.

Effect

Fertility rituals increase the likelihood of a baby being made. They can be used to create hybrids, but the limits are only slightly further than those that exist in nature; a cat-human hybrid can't be created, but a cat-tiger can be. It's also used in breeding Vulhund.

Discovery

This ritual was first discovered in ancient Greece, but has since been refined significantly by INSSO. The most recent refinement was made by Philip D. Klaus for his thesis paper to earn a P.hd in ritual casting at Deer College.

Material Components
A fertility ritual requires some blood from each party, one milliliter of raw milk per centiliter of blood, one whole egg weighing 6 grams per milliliter of blood, and 2 grape flowers. Keeping the right proportions of liquids is important, but grape mass does not affect the spell; flowers of any size can be used, as long as they number two. If grapevine dust is added as an accelerant, make sure none is sourced from flowers, as this can tamper with the ritual. An egg with a shell color close to the mother's skin and two yolks is most effective.
Gestures & Ritual
First, the flowers are soaked separately in the blood of the parents-to be for at least 6 hours under the full moon. During this time, the egg is carefully split in half, keeping the insides intact. Then, the blood is poured into the bowl with the milk, egg, and the flowers are cut in half and stuck to each-other before being put in the eggshells, which are then stuck together. An iron pin can be used to attach the flower halves, and a mixture of flour and water can be used as glue for the eggshells. The bowl is then set alight and in the room with the lovers. Dust from ground, dried grapevines can be used as an accelerant.
