The Stacks
A biosphere of madness and memory, the Stacks is as close to divinity as we get.
Geography
A deliberate break from the stony walls of the main library, the stacks offer a biosphere-esque oasis. Covered in lush greenery and ample flowers, the stacks is a refugee from the Null Flame and its disciples. Among the distance are cliffs, mountains, and seas offering a glimpse into what the world looked like before the Binding of the Light. Throughout it all echoes of fauna and remnants of civilization can be seen, though sparsely.
Religious Significance
The Stacks are the heart of the library, the significance differs between every settlement and people.
The Spineweavers
The Spineweavers rever the stacks, they are the heart of the Motherbook and represent the first binding by the Threadmother. Furthermore they are the resting place of the Prime Codex, the first book bound by the Threadmother and the seal of the Motherbook.
The Dustbound
The Dustbound see the stacks as the culmination of all the whispers of knowledge and forgotten people. This is where the Whisper-Mothers are silent, there is no need to chant the names of the forgotten as they are all here. There is no need to ccontinue rebind and repair the old tomes as the stacks retain all that information. The next journey is to figure out how to read all that information. The Silent Concord
The stacks are the enemy of the silent concord, they are the representation of everything wrong with this world.
The Fractured Chorus
The Fractured Chorus is the omnipresent group of voices controlling and manipulating the library.
