Orc

On average, Orcs are tall and broad with gray skin, ears that are sharply pointed, and prominent lower canines that resemble small tusks. Orc youths are told about their ancestors’ great travels and travails, fostering a sense of pride and a connection to their past.   The first Orcs arrived in the world with Inas and Ryheia more than 5000 years ago and many were staunch supporters of their Dragon and Cat overlords. They saw the Dragons and Cats as powerful and benevolent beings who brought order to the world. As a result, many were killed in the Chain Breaker War, and those that survived, while they pledged allegiance to the Velorians, did not readily trust their new rulers.   Instead of settling in the cities like the Dragonborn, many orcs took up more nomadic lifestyles, preferring the freedom of the open road. They are often found as mercenaries, hunters, or wandering tribes. There are rumors of a hidden Orc stronghold, though this has not been proven, and some believe that a remnant of the old order may still exist within its depths.
