Halfling
Halflings are a small but spirited race known for their love of life, home, and hearth. They value family and community, and they gravitate toward bucolic havens where they can live in peace and harmony. Many halflings form tight-knit communities in almost every city, creating a strong sense of belonging and support.
Despite their small stature, many halflings possess a brave and adventurous spirit that leads them on journeys of discovery. Their size—similar to that of a human child—helps them pass through crowds unnoticed and slip through tight spaces, making them skilled explorers and infiltrators.
Many halflings believe in the power of luck, and they attribute their unusual gift to one or more of the benevolent gods. They often carry lucky charms or talismans, and they believe that good fortune will always find its way to those who are kind and generous.
The First Halflings arrived in the world with Inas and Ryheia more than 5000 years ago, becoming an integral part of the diverse tapestry of cultures that emerged in the aftermath of the Great Deceit.
