Riku of Two Reflections
Since an early age, Rikua has always shown a great talent for magic, quick to learn and with a strong hunger for knowledge. However, Riku's tutors had difficulty in keeping his attention for extended periods, and Riku ould often steal away to the forests near his home to study animals rather than tomes of spells.
The Perfect Plan As Riku came of age and enrolled in a prestigious mage's college, he found himself torn more than ever between studying spellcraft and lifecraft, and unable to fully commit to either. His saving grace came in the form of a spell originally designed by one of his professors, but left incomplete in the face of the difficulties it presented. Riku took it on himself to finish the spell, using it to split himself into to equally capable copies.
Intellect and Cunning Though both copies of Riku share the original's natural talent and strong passion for learning, the Riku focused on mastering the arts of the arcane is ell and above even his other self in the department of brains. The Riku more proficient in spellcraft finds that he more greatly enjoys using spells which distract and disorient his opponents, while at the same time disrupting their on attempts to counter Riku's moves.
Wisdom and Patience When Riku's copies were created, one deepened its dedication to reading every tome and scroll it could find. The other, however, began to frequently wander the college's extensive grounds, learning from the beastmasters and huntsmen to be found in the woods. Before long, Riku received an invitation of apprenticeship from a renowned druid, one whose only goal in life seems to be passing on hat they've learned to Riku. This master druid is also the only other one who knows the truth behind Riku's dual lives.
