Prophet of Kruphix
Prophet of Kruphix
As the god of horizons, mysteries, and time itself, Kruphix is both one of the oldest and most powerful gods of the pantheon. And though Heliod is the pantheon's ruler, all of the gods pay close attention to Kruphnix and his wisdom and are usually willing to give in to the elder god's demands in the very rare occasion that he should make them. For the most part, however, Kruphinx is willing to leave the rest of the divine world to its own doings.
This same attitude is adopted by the prophets that serve Kruphix's will when it comes to the mortal world. Even though the servants of Kruphix often have the most far-reaching sight of any prophet or seer, and the strongest interpersonal relationship with their chosen god, they rarely use their knowledge to intervene in the world's affairs. Instead, the prophets of Kruphix are content to sit and wait for others to come to them, always knowing the exact moment that their talents will be put to use.

Action | Protent | The prophet peers through the fog of time and into the near future. | After doing so, it rolls a d20 then records the result of one of those dice. |
Once before the end of the prophet's next short or long rest, | when it or a creature within 60 feet of it rolls a d20, | the prophet can choose to replace the result of that roll with the recorded roll. | The prophet must choose whether to do so before the roll is made. |
When the prophet uses its Portent action, | it loses any previously recorded rolls | ||
Reaction | Flash Casting | Whenever the prophet or an allied creature within 30 feet of it | becomes the target of an attack or spell, |
the prophet can use its reaction to cast any spell that | it knows and has prepared, expanding a spell slot as normal |
