Prophet of Kruphix

As the god of horizons, mysteries, and time itself, Kruphix is both one of the oldest and most powerful gods of the pantheon. And though Heliod is the pantheon's ruler, all of the gods pay close attention to Kruphnix and his wisdom and are usually willing to give in to the elder god's demands in the very rare occasion that he should make them. For the most part, however, Kruphinx is willing to leave the rest of the divine world to its own doings.   This same attitude is adopted by the prophets that serve Kruphix's will when it comes to the mortal world. Even though the servants of Kruphix often have the most far-reaching sight of any prophet or seer, and the strongest interpersonal relationship with their chosen god, they rarely use their knowledge to intervene in the world's affairs. Instead, the prophets of Kruphix are content to sit and wait for others to come to them, always knowing the exact moment that their talents will be put to use.   Visions of the Future None of the Kruphix's many prophets have been known to turn away those who come to them for help. As they tend to shelter in places far from civilizations, the prophets claim that any who can reach them are destined to have done so, and therefore more than worthy of any aid they can provide- which is powerful aid, indeed. A prophet of Kurphix can read the future so accurately that nearly any question asked of them can be answered, with incredibly accurate detail.   But in a true example of contradiction, because a prophet of Kriuphix provides such unnervingly accurate knowledge of the future, there are few that ever seek them out. In Theros, it's believed that knowing the events of the future is both a blessing and a curse. While knowing that your life is danger can be terrifying, it can also lead you to be more careful with your actions, perhaps allowing you to circumvent your own death. But the words of a prophet serving Kruphix are always true, no matter what is said. If one of Kruphix's own prophets predicts your death, it is coming for you, in an exact manner, they say it will, no matter the actions you take to prevent it. And knowledge like that could only ever be a burden for those who bear it.
