Karametra’s Acolyte
As the god of harvests, Karametra holds a special connection to the people of Theros. Without the guidance of Karametra, the people of Theros would not have crops, relying only on hunting and gathering to fill their plates. Giving humans the secret of farming earned Karametra allies and enemies alike among the other gods, but it also cemented her position as one of the most worshipped gods of the pantheon.
Even today, hundreds of years after she gave away the secret of farming, Karametra is still worshipped in every polis across Theros. Her greatest bastion of support is in Setessa- ironically also a major place of worship of Nylea, the god of the hunt. In Setessa, while Nylea is seen as a defender, keeping the natural order and guarding the lands around Setessa, Karametra is seen as a bringer of life, and her worshippers as an extension of her love and mercy.
