Invoke the Divine

By calling upon the power of your faith, you attempt to disable the tools of your enemy. You can cast this spell using your reaction when a creature that you can see in range becomes the target of an attack made with or spell cast using a magic item. If the magic item is of uncommon rarity or below, it ceases to function for 24 hours as you draw the energy from it, causing you to gain 4d4 temporary hit points.   At Higher Levels When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 6th level or higher, you can disable rare magic items, and gain 8d4 temporary hit points. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 9th level, you can disable very rare magic items and gain 12d4 temporary hit points.
