You pour the liquid ingredients onto the ground, which grow and spread into a black pudding that appears in an unoccupied space that you can see within range. The ooze disappears when it drops to 0 hit points or when the spell ends. The ooze is friendly to you and your allies for the duration acts at the end of your turn and obeys any mental commands that you issue to it (no action required). If you don’t issue any commands to it, the ooze defends itself from hostile creatures, but otherwise takes no actions. Whenever the ooze reduces a Small or larger creature to 0 hit points with a melee weapon attack, you can use your reaction to command it to swallow the dead creature, destroying the body in the process. If you do, the ooze gains an additional 15 hit points and a permanent and cumulative +1 bonus to its attack and damage rolls. If the ooze has at least 100 hit points, you can command it to split into two new oozes as if it had used the Split reaction. Any oozes created by the splitting of the original ooze remain friendly and obey any commands you issue, as if they had been summoned by the spell. Any oozes created by the splitting of the original ooze disappear when they drop to 0 hit points or when the spell ends. The GM has the black pudding’s statistics.
