Fate Foretold
You dip the coin into the ink, then touch it to a willing creature, watching as the coin melts away and lines of scrawled text begin to appear across the creature’s body. Roll a d20, and record the number rolled. Until the end of your next long rest, whenever the target rolls a d20, if the number rolled is the same one, both you and the target gain a number of temporary hit points equal to your spellcasting modifier.
At Higher Levels When you cast this spell using certain higher-level spell slots, the number of temporary hit points you gain is increased– twice as many with a 5th-level spell slot, four times as many with a 7th-level spell slot, and eight times as many with a 9th-level spell slot.
