Fanatic of Mogis

Wild-eyed and breathing heavy with rage, its horns and clubs flecked with the gore of its last kill, the sight of a fanatic of Mogis is often a promise of a short and brutish death. Though slightly more intelligent than their brethren- at least intelligent enough to worship the god of slaughter, and fling spells in his name- these fanatics are no less violent or barbaric. In fact, their unrelenting devotion to their furious god often means they're less willing to forgo the slaughter.   Worshippers of Pain Mogis, the god of slaughter, desires only one thing from his worshippers- to force the suffering of others. Failure to adhere to this one commandment often means a quick death in Mogis'; name. This desire for brutality is often what attracts minotaurs to worship Mogis in the first place, and those that manage to truly live the god of wraith's ideals can find themselves on receiving end of his favor. Often this blessing simply means a deepening of the instinctual, primal rage that already drives them.   But for those minotaurs sharp enough to recognize the real benefits, a blessing from Mogis means access to a darker power, one that shapes the way they approach battle. A fanatic of Mogis still throws itself into enemy lines with abandon, but now it brings with it the fires of Mogis. Their weapons burn with an unearthly heat, one capable of splitting bone, and their hands but with the flames of their own rage.   Even when a fanatic of Mogis seems defeated, cornered, and with nowhere left to go, the rage they feel refuses to give in. Instead, it manifests as fire that leaps from every inch of their body, searching for skin to sear and flesh to burn, while they continue to frantically fight for a way out. While no minotaur ever surrenders a battle, a fanatic of Mogis refuses to ever surrender a fight, even one they could never win.
