Desert Nomad
Desert Nomad
In the parched deserts of Rabiah, survival is an uneasy prospect, one that is never fully guaranteed. But despite the hardships found in a land of unending heat without readily available water, some people still choose to make the desert their home. These people are normally nomads, wandering from place to place in search of survival, sometimes in groups or sometimes along. The only uniting thing among all nomads is a strong reckless streak, and fierce desire for independence that they refuse to give up for any master. The tactics of the desert nomads vary from place to place, but most are fond of waiting for the desert to tire out their marks, letting travels grow exhausted from their own traveling while the nomads remain at ease in their home. When they're ready, the nomads close the distance with crossbows, switching to long pikes that they can wield from camelback when they enter melee range. By the time they corner their targets, most are too tired or thirsty to resist, and are left to hope that the particular nomads facing them down are merciful enough to leave some water and food behind.
