As a reaction, whenever you are targeted by a spell of 3rd level or lower cast by a Bard or Sorcerer, you may automatically counter that spell, causing the barrier to flash red again.
Higher Levels When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the level of the spell which you may counter increases by one for every slot level above 3rd.
