Cast Down
You can cast this spell using your reaction whenever a creature fails a saving throw against another spell you cast. The presence of your magic twists the target’s mind, producing insidious horrors which tear at their consciousness. In addition to the normal effects of the spell, the target must make an Intelligence saving throw. On a failed save, the target takes 6d6 psychic damage, or half as much damage on a success. If this damage reduces the target to 0 hit points, they immediately die, and their body turns to ash.
At Higher Levels When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for every slot level above 5th.
