Blackblade Reforged

The Blackblade is a powerful artifact, once wielded by the famous warrior Dakkon Blackblade, and has appeared many times in the legends of Dominaria’s history. Broken long ago, the weapon was reforged to aid in a dangerous battle to determine the fate of existence, after which the fate of the blade is unknown, lost to the annals of history, though legends and stories maintain it still exists in some form. The original Blackblade was terrifying in its abilities, but after it was reforged to aid in the cause of good, the powers of the blade were warped. You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon. While using this weapon, you have advantage on all saving throws made against spells and other magical effects, and all spell attacks made against you have disadvantage. Whenever you are targeted by a spell attack or succeed on a saving throw against a spell or magical effect, the Blackblade Reforged absorbs some of the magic, increasing the bonus to attack and damage rolls by +1. This bonus is cumulative, up to a maximum of +5. Each day at dawn, this bonus decreases by one amount, to a minimum of +1. Additionally, attacks made with the Blackblade Reforged deal an additional 2d6 necrotic damage against dragons, or an additional 4d6 necrotic damage against any dragon of the Ancient age category or older. Any dragon reduced to 0 hit points by an attack with the Blackblade Reforged is automatically killed.
