King Suleiman

Also known as the Great King, the Magnificent Emperor, Guardian of the Borders, Banisher of Evils, and a thousand and one other titles, King Suleiman has been the ruler of one of Rabiah's greatest kingdoms for thousands of years. Given great gifts by the divine powers of Rabiah, Suleiman is by far the oldest-living being on Rabiah, and has again played a key role in saving Rabiah from destruction.   Birth of a Ruler Suleiman was born in a time so far back that no records of it exist, even among the studious archivists of Rabiah. Suleiman was born into slavery under the elemental genies that once controlled Rabia, and was given a position as a djinn's assistant, keenly watching the alchemical processes the djinn practiced, never believing the uneducated Suleiman could be learning as he did so. This alchemy would prove to be key o Suleiman met the forces which guard Rabiah from outside influence, and was given incredible wisdom and charisma, and anointed as guardian of Rabiah in their stead. Returning to his people, Suleiman led them in revolt against the genies, eventually freeing Rabiah and its people from their influence.   Unwavering Defender After his leadership of the rebellion, Suleiman was chosen unanimously as king. Though his kingdom would fracture over time, splitting into other countries and empires, many remember the debt they owe to King Suleiman to this day. Still, Suleiman asks for little, only peace in his kingdom as he rules it, and watches the borders of Rabiah for any sign of intrusions, dealing with them as they arise. King Suleiman has died several times in this pursuit, and many more times he has passed away peacefully in his sleep from old age. But a key element of his bargain with the divine powers bind his life to that of Rabiah, ensuring that so long as his home exists, so hill he to defend it, returning only days later after each death, forming fully grown from the warm sands of Rabiah's infinite dunes to make his way back to his throne.
