The Wrights
Their existence is only rumored, nobody has seen a Wright in many ages. The races with longer memories have better remembrances of those days, and know well enough that they haven't disappeared entirely, but the younger folk came to be long after they disappeared and can only craft stories about the wonders they left behind.
Basic Information
Anatomy
A humanoid figure of twisted roots over a skeleton of metal coursing with veins full of strange alchemical brews creates a towering figure with a godlike physique. Plants or horns may grow from the head in place of hair, and gemstone grow in place of nails.
Often, mantles of stone, metal, or glass might be donned and in time settled into the roots, making it like a second skin. Unmantled, the Wrights can with some effort control the shape of their body and summon up new limbs, though their natural state is four-limbed.
Growth Rate & Stages
Occasionally, a Wright who was both ancient and powerful will have built up a mantle so large as to become a small sentient mountain; or may have forgone a mantle and grown girthy at the root, eventually settling as a world tree.
