Compassblooms
If you are ever lost look to the flowers for direction. They point the way, a gift from nature to us wanderers.
When traveling through lush green plains and/or forest, one can find their way by following the compassblooms. The leaves and petals of these flowers grow according to the cardinal directions. Aptly named Eastwestinians and Northsouthamums the petals grow perpendicular or parallel to their respective stem leaves.
These flowers are very popular with survivalist and even adventurers as they explore the world. It is also considered bad luck to purposefully re-orient these flowers, as they naturally grow the right direction, even in areas of strange planar energies.
