Weaveright, a right to rule bestowed upon all who can access the Arcane Weave. The Arcanum Imperium believes that might makes right, and in their case, magic is the ultimate might. What started as a secret collective for students of the Magisterium to learn more about offensive magics has become an arcane cartel peddling in magics that are ancient, dangerous, and forbidden. Through covert actions, the Imperium has acquired knowledge of all kinds of magic, stealing from the halls of the Magisterium and other arcane repositories across Duankh.

Culture

Some members of the Imperium are ruthless mage supremacists and prey on the weak and vulnerable especially if they can hide their attacks under the guise of "liberating knowledge." They despise non-mages and think of them as second class citizens. Many are disenfranchised people looking for a leg up in a world that has beat them down, however they are going about it in a way that is dangerous to populace.

Anonymity is the greatest tool of the Imperium, some of their ranks hide in plain sight, being able to manipulate and gather information on various targets from within.

Assets

The monetary assets of the Imperium are unknown, whether they have wealthy benefactors is a question many are trying to uncover. What is known is that they have stolen a lot of arcane implements and rituals. They do not have a large repository of arcane knowledge but the knowledge they do have is considered very dangerous.
