Coleoptería Kingdom

The Coleoptería kingdom came to be in the year -5, when the three main factions of Beetlefolk united after the Coleopter-Roach War, solidifying their power and control over the entrance and pushing the Roach Bands all the way back and beyond Nitda Béstia.

The building of Raïtz hom marks the start of year 0, the capital becoming the point of reference for the history of Beetlefolk. Since then things have become somewhat stable despite eventual clashes with the Roaches and some surface species.

The permanent population of the kingdom rounds up to 3.000 insects, with almost half the population living in the capital and around 70% of it being Beetlefolk. Other species mostly live in small communities or just pass by in their journey to other places, so even if they aren't excluded or unwelcome to live in their settlements, foreign species aren't exactly invited to come in either.

There are a couple of insects whose presence is an outright red flag for most citizens, these being the Necrites, Formicoids and sometimes even Chilopodians. However none of them receive the open hostility and violence that a Roach is expected to get beyond Nitda Béstia, the border city itself being the most openly proud to do so.

The territory extends from Pòrtade Solelh all the way to Nitde Bèstia, including the tree root mines at the top. It borders the Chilopodian Realms to the bottom, the roaches to the depths and the surface.

There's no state or organized institution of belief in itself beyond a vague set of ideas and non-spoken rules inherited from tradition. Polen is held as a holy sustenance and anything that harms plant life that bears polen or fruits is as good as sin. The main and only being respected enough to interpret the moral laws of the kingdom is the Voice Polilla. A young looking Luni who is believed to have lived for at least 450 years, making them the oldest insect ever known as no single being remembers a time when they where already around.

It has little to no contact with any nations that aren't the Roach tribes or the Chilopodian Realm beyond trade.

Currently in war with the Roaches, though the current small skirmishes on the border are practically peace in comparison with the bloody clashes of past.

There's a somewhat amicable understanding between the Kingdom and the Chilopodian Realm where they don't interfere with each other's business beyond necessary.
