Affo Creation Tale

In ancient times the Affo wandered an isolated jungle valley. Above them the Simia cavorted. Both existed innocent and free but mere animals. They were unable to survive outside their isolated valley. Without greater intelligence the terrible lizards outside devoured any that ventured forth.   This all changed when a great emerald spirit, the Thinking Spark, arrived in their valley. It expanded the dim ember of the Simian and Affo mind to their present brilliant flame. This allowed the Simia to spread their woven cities across Lus Renforst. The Affo wandered far and wide using their new intelligence to outsmart the terrible beasts they encountered.

Human scholars suggest that the Thinking Spark was a Herald of Sitav. This Herald would have been responsible for uplifting the Affo and the Simia much in the same way Sitav uplifted the Smatriven. This claim is supported by various races with animalistic traits such as the Ormir. The Affo are indifferent to the Human interpetations.
