Translator Virus
The translator virus is a bionanitic virus that works to translate languages. It can 'remember' about 200 viruses at a time (newer ones overwriting older ones), and will slowly translate viruses unknown to the infected. However, many artists say that it waters down the distinctiveness of language by translating everything.
The virus is incredibly infectious and trivially easy to remove from a host. It is one of the oldest known things in the universe - every historical record of every great empire makes mention of the virus.
