A Weustri

Weustri are magestic air creatures that are connected to the ruler of the winter Isowu, it is said that they where created by one of the angent gods to help Isowu bring snow to the lands with the wind that their giant wings create.

Behavior

They are commonly seen in the sky in groups along with other flying animals and creatures, they are never hostile to anyone and simply fly, almost in slow motion, through the sky. They live in the clouds and sleep while cliding through the air, they change with who's sleeping and who watches over them. They are never attacked because they are way to high up and big, although they can be small as well. However they still have thick skin in case someone does try to hurt them. They like to fly with others, when they spot someone in the air they join them on their journey and make sure they stay safe on their way.
They do not feel or understand emotions and neither can they show any. However they do understand the concept of fear and bravery, which is why they always come to help when they see someone in need.
Besides enjoying their endless flight, Weustri also like to dive into the water and gently touch the tree crowns. They never stop flying and if they do it means they are close to their last days.

When they die they sublimation and become one with the clouds. And when they get born they form out of fog, smoke, clouds or mist.

Appearance and Traits

Weustri look like flying reptiles, either do they have two wings and two legs with giant claws or only 4 wings. Their scales can come in all kinds of pastel tones but most commonly seen are white and blue scales. They can get up to 100 meters long but the most common size is 40 meters, their wings are gigantic and wide holding them magestically in the air so they can glide and fly through the striongest wind. A Weustri's body is very slim but as mentioned very thick for protection because their bones are very light and hollow so they have less weight to carry for fast flying.
These magical creatures have observe very well and can speak the human language, they sound like an echo, very unnatural as if their voice comes from the sky itself. They can also roar loudly like the wind through the mountains, a true dragon-like scream. They can breath under water and swim but not as good as they can fly because most of them do not have a tail made for swimming, it is however very good to fly and make sharp turns. When they fly are they almost impossible to hear, their magic makes them almost silent.
They can feel the energy and history of a place by listening to the wind, the breeze and ones breath. That's how they are able to find wanderers in the sky and if they need help or not.
