Encounters

7:00p - Rumours have sprouted around the city regarding Cordis' death, and so because the people would rather put their trust in a local than some surfaxers they just met, Lanna has won the election and is crowned the Queen of Olisreach. While nobody is 100% certain who killed Cordis, Nirin suggests that the PCs leave the city for a while, giving the rumours some time to die down. He will pay for their travel and lodgings. Berrit has gained the courage to kick Dace out of the house and sells it to the party at a discount, remaining there as the housekeeper. PJ meets with Lanna and forms an alliance.

7:30p - The party leaves via boat and travels to the city of Ider, where they hear about a string of recent break-ins. They find an inn to stay in and investigate the city.

8:00p - PCs split up to gather information from the different shopkeepers, beginning with the docks and working their way back to the wealthiest neighbourhood.

8:30p - The party plans a stakeout by Adrian's Antiques, a shop in the wealthier part of the city which had not been hit yet. During this stakeout it is attacked by a group matching the descriptions given by the other shopkeepers (combat)

9:00p - PCs tie up the criminals and interrogate them. They are looking for a set of 5 keys, one of which the PCs take from the cultists, another of which they find in Adrian's Antiques. Dareth, the one in charge of the group, explains that they are part of a cult planning to wake up a great beast called a Titan. This great beast is the only way out of the underground, and back to the surface.

9:30p - The party hands 3 of the cultists over to the city guards for reward, keeping Dareth as a guide to the cultists' hideout. When they get back to their room at the Sunrise Inn, they see that it has been ransacked, but nothing was stolen. They stay the night at the inn, undisturbed, and head into the tunnels in the morning.

Past Events

Ider is a city of wealth, the poorest of people still able to afford a decent lifestyle. Unlike Olisreach's shale cliffs, Ider rests on a patch of mostly-fertile soil, and is where the majority of the underground's crops are grown. They then ship these goods to other parts of the cave systems, and outside merchants will often come here to sell specially crafted goods. Of course, due to the recent break-ins, trade has been slow. As the party investigates this, they learn the following:
  • Each group consists of 4 or 5 humanoids, all dressed in dark colours
  • In these groups, there is a dwarf with a red beard, an elf, and a tall blond man
  • Someone heard the name "Dareth" during one of the break-ins
