Court Elf
Some of the archfey who left the Feywild eventually returned. They were changed, less mutable now, and mortal. Immediately the Fey courts put these in-between folk to work as spies, diplomats and ambassadors. The nature of a court elf's role in Fey society means that non-elves rarely belong to this culture. Those that do are known as changelings.
Court elven culture is a small and insular sphere; most court elves know each other directly or by reputation.
