BACKSTORY

• Male DWARF - around 300 years old
• Actual born name is Frilkank Amethystchecker - IS the Dwarven Male who published Artificing Level 1-6 Books that Lykalada'ath has been reading (Narinn knows, and Da'Ath will find out, this man is basically the GILDEROY LOCKHART of the Artificing world)
• Changed his name to Thorman Ivers about a century ago as his peers considered him a joke and a fraud, and his books were seen as trash by anyone in the know
• His old name is still laughed about in Artificing Circles (including Narinn's parents and Nicov Flavel), a fact that enraged Thorman when he hears it
• Has been interested in Warforged and crafting Golems and Constructs since the emergence of Keyrth and Onsyx 100 years ago
• WAS ACTUALLY ONE OF THE ARTIFICERS hired by KING CLAIN HOMNJ to build both Warforged and the Warforged Constructs sent against the Deathjoints
• Fled after the fall of CLAIN, knowing King Alphanis and Keyrth would be interested in the people who helped Clain with his experiments
• Most of the work was actually done by Clain and other artificers, though Thorman took extensive notes and learned what he could. Was devastated to leave all Warforged notes and parts behind
• Has been gathering what he can since King Clain took over, moving to Oroccid to continue his work in SECRET
• Longtime rival with Nicov Flavel, who was working at the King's behest at Stosan Academy on learning Warforged secrets (unbeknownst to Keyrth of course)
• Knew Flavel was keeping most of his work secret from his apprentice and most at Stosan, except for Wanesh Brycos and the King
• Recently, Sabotaged one of Flavel's experiments to provide cover to steal his notes and supplies, did not actually intend to kill Flavel, but didn't feel too bad about it
• Took everything back to his lab in Surfton, where he had been hired by the Water Genasi to created means to help in the next Genasi War should Cloudscape attack them again
• The Surfton government looked the other way at his work, only wanting results, though his lab assistants, while brilliant, were a bit naive and idealists, and he kept many experiments from them.
• Aside from his projects made for the Surfton, has also managed to recreate a Warforged Titan and most of Warforged Arachnid that he has hidden in the lab
